Happy, happy!!

Today I woke up, extra, extra, extra much more in love with my boyfriend, than EVER!! I don't know why, it just is what it is! Didn't know love could evolve like this, I was actually SURE that the "hottest" love, were the love you feel when it's all new, when your heart starts beating faster just because you see the person you love enter the room. I was SO sure that that feeling were exclusively only for the "newly-wed" (you know what I mean) - period. But God dang it, when I see him (Roy) sometimes, it can be in the store, or when we are riding our bikes, or just watching him write some of his stories (he's an artist, with a big A!), my heart STILL starts beating real fast... this is after 5 years, and maybe that is not a very long period of time for most people, I really wouldn't know what is the "norm" now a days, but for me it is the longest relationship I've EVER been in, and the HEALTHIEST!! 

Compared to my behavior towards most of my exes, I have behaved like an angel in this relationship!! It really is a love-story I only thought excisted in fairytales (cheesy, I know, but it's the hard truth!)!
I know this is the man I will make BEAUTIFUL babies with, and I've NEVER wanted to be a mother before I met Roy, and there is just so much more I am discovering about myself because I'm in love with this dude... THIS exact dude:-P I am sure it is his love towards me that is "changing" me into a better Ellen, I can even tell for myself that I am changing into a more patient and calm person, and people are usually the most blind when it comes to themself... right?? But I can really tell that I am a more peaceful girl!

So, after waking up from the BEST dream, about my man( <3 ), my father called, he wanted to drive us to the "sentrum" of the small place we're living, because it was raining, raining HARD, but we were ready to open our umbrella-ella-ella-ellas, and just walk (why the h*** not, I think one big reason people all over the western world are so fat and borderline morbidly obese in some cases, are because we all think that without a car we can't excist, so we drive everywhere because it really is convenient, but if everybody just got up off of their asses we would have a MUCH healthier population!).
So, dad buys us apple-pie and coffe, we sit and chat for a while and then my little sister, Ine, comes and drops a huge bomb!! She is going to be a mommy for the second time, and Roy and I are going to be aunt and uncle for another cute, funny angel. I, off course started bawling (quite embarrassing, but the first time, when she told me she was going to be a mother the FIRST time, I cried so hard I literally fell on the floor crying!!)
Hehe, somebody are more emotional than others I guess :-D I just LOVE my "baby-sister" and I'm SO happy for her!! I'm trying to talk her into giving me one baby if she gets twins;-P She's down with that! (Ironi, for those who didn't get it!) But seriously, I am so curious to see my own babies aswell, when they come. I just know I will fall head over heels in love with them. Wonder what the product of a very tiny red-headed girl with brown eyes and milky-white skin and a half norwegian-half south korean BEAUTIFUL boy will look like? I guess the asian genes (from Roy) are the most dominant, and I SO hope that our children will resemble him, and get some of the korean "trademarks"!!

Hihi, so, there I got the baby-crazy talk out of the way :-)
I stopped crying happy-tears after a while, then I bought a whole lot of yarn and stuff for knitting hats, leggings, arm-warmers etc. Finally we went to the place where you buy the really hardcore farmer-stuff (you know; John Deer overalls, rubberboots, and everything you need as a farmer), a place called "Felleskjøpet", and there we bought rain-outfits. Green, and looks extremely cool ;-P I promise pictures will follow!!

Now I am enjoying some ice-water, cleaning some floors, and are about to start knitting something fab!!

And in all of this, Roy is doing the dishes, and are going to make dinner right after he is finished!! I am a spoiled little princess, and my entire family is jealus of me :-) (But, without going into details, I REALLY spoil him too <3 )

I love my fionce'. He is THE most handsome man I've EVER seen, ever met... and he's smart too, AND, the creme' de la creme'; the dude loves art!! JACKPOT ;-P

I know I am lucky to have found such a pure, real and STRONG love, and the next time I meditate/pray, I will wish this feeling of love for everybody who's got great and pure karma!

I am a HUGE believer in karma, by the way!!

Do something nice for someone else, and receive a feeling of a heart that grows. It's the best feeling I know!

I am fighting every day to keep my "monsters" in their cage (quote Johnny Cash), and I am doing a pretty good job so far (if I may say so myself). It is challenging as h***, I have to be strong, it doesn't just "flow", but the hard work PAYS! And as I said; I am receiving a kind of love I've never conceived of!! So that makes me think that I am doing something right, to deserve this amount of love every day.

So, I'm: HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY <3 <3 <3 <3

THE CONSTITUTION, people, ESPECIALLY U.S citizens should KNOW this!!

Congress OF THE United States, begun and held at the City of New-York, on
Wednesday the fourth of March, one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine.

                                                  THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added; And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.

                                                  RESOLVED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, two thirds of both Houses concurring, that the following Articles be proposed to the Legislatures of the several States, as amendments to the Constitution of the United States, all, or any of which Articles, when ratified by three-fourths of the said Legislatures, to be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of the said Constitution; viz.

                                                  ARTICLES in addition to, and Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, proposed by Congress, and ratified by the Legislatures of the several States, pursuant to the fifth Article of the original Constitution.

Article the first. .... After the first enumeration required by the first article of the Constitution, there shall be one Representative for every 30,000 until the number shall amount to 100, after which the proportion shall be so regulated by Congress, that there shall be not less than 100 Representatives, nor less than one Representative for every 40,000 persons, until the number of Representatives shall amount to 200; after which the proportion shall be so regulated by Congress, that there shall not be less than 200 Representatives, nor more than one Representative for every 50,000 persons.

Article the second ... No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.

Article the third ...... Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Article the fourth..... A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Article the fifth ....... No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Article the sixth ...... The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Article the seventh .. No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Article the eighth ... In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

Article the ninth .. In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Article the tenth ..... Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Article the eleventh .... The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Article the twelfth ... The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Ingrid Evelyn Løken var i storform da ordføreren besøkte henne på jublieumsdagen.

MODUM: Den friske og kvikke 100-åringen, Ingrid Evelyn Løken, tok imot hjemmetjenestens ansatte samt ordfører Terje Bråthen på kaffe og kaker. Gjestene kom gående som det reneste 17. mai toget fra hjemmetjenestens lokaler til Ingrids bolig i Furulund ved Modumheimen.

– Dette var kjempehyggelig, strålte jubilanten da toget stanset opp i hagen for å synge bursdagssang.

Følger med

Til tross for alderen har ikke Ingrid noe problem med å fløge med på det som skjer. Hukommelsen er god, hørselen og synet det samme.

– Det er beina som er mitt problem. Hadde det ikke vært for dem kunne jeg nok holdt følge med de fleste fremdeles.

Mens damene i hjemmetjenesten sørger for at både jubilanten, ordføreren og de selv får et stykke marsipankake, går praten mellom Ingrid og nettopp ordføreren.

– Jeg husker jo Terje godt fra den tida han var unggutt i Skotselva. Jeg og mannen min bodde også der den gang, sier hun.

Kunne spart seg

Som 100-åring er det normalt å få brev fra Hans Majestet Kongen. Det kunne Ingrid like gjerne vært foruten.

– Det var ikke særlig mye som sto der, og at det er et brev fra Kongen blir feil å si når det er en ferdig sak som han ikke har vært i nærheten av en gang.

Morning meditation

Now it is wednesday-morning blues... (nope!) I'm sitting here with a nice cup of "cleansing-tea", Pukka-tea :-D

I will drink it slowly, and then I'll go do my daily yoga routine, WITH my fionce' this time!!After the yoga, and the meditation is done, I'm gonna do vocal rehersals aswell, just gonna have to eat some breakfast at some point :-P

For breakfast I will have grilled-cheeese, on a bread with mustard, sourcream on the side, and watermelon for "dessert".

I am still adjusting to living in such a SMALL communiity as we do now, it definetely has it's ups and down... thats for d*** sure!!

But the change of environment has done us both very good, we are more active than we have been in 3-4 years combined. Roy is BIG-KAHUNA with chainsaw and several "manly" things, and I am cykling to gardners to buy flowers to plant. So I am doing more "woman-like" chores around her; washing floors, dusting, vacuuming, washing and drying clothes, painting the house and decorating our small house in an even more romantic style:)

Roy tells me that he becomes really happy each time he walks into the house, because he says I've made it so beautiful <3

He is a CHARMER, that Roy!!!!!

Another life-purpose I now have is to become such a good singer, keyboard-player and guitar player, so that getting lots of beautiful music and melodies out of me, and down on paper, could happen more instantly!! It would be the coolest thing if I could go into a musicstudio!!! That would be the DREAM:)

Har nettoppp hatt en wunderbares natt med schlafen i sofa.sengs!! Gid, hvor det var deilig!!

Siden blir det heftigere yoga enn i går, håper han Roy bestemmer seg for å hive seg med på øvelsene!! Men forstår godt om han står over! GUD som denne type trening og kroppsbeherskelse er balsam for sjelen altså!!

Etter en god time med yoga, og påfølgende meditasjon, har dagen blitt hilst velkommen, av en solhilsen!!Karma is great!

Mine lille mini-oppgave deretter er å "call'e out" Høyre's Jon Hovland! For etter  å ha opplevd den ekte, harde og virkelige verden der ute, så ser jeg etter 12 år borte fra bygda at den populistiske narsissisten som pr-duden er, er ALTFOR opptatt av å være på trykk, eller på bilde i "Bøgde-arket" enn å sette fokus på å balansere over i den virkelige verden!! Jeg tar det dypt personlig når et "forbilde" kaster bort den vakre, fantastiske rollen sin til å havne på trykk så fort en blits går av! (Dette er overdrevet, og jeg overdriver bevisst, i håp om at mannen lar oss få høre noen politiske standpunkter, litt fokus på politikk rett og slett... ja, om han til og med var i stand til å servere noen ideer! Til og med nyskapende??? Oooops, der dro jeg den nok for langt igjen)

Kanskje jeg skal takke gudene for at det er han som har "kuppet" høyre-topp plassen, da blir i allefall ikke høyre vinnere i kommunevalget :-DLeste, og syntes det var uhyre uproft og dumt å unngå å svare på spm som blir stilt ham i bygdeposten, (av en som tilogmed var høyre-velger!!!), men istedet gikk til angrep fordi mennesket ønsket anonymitet i et offentlig medie! En slik mann vil ikke jeg ha som ordfører!!

Rart Hovland ikke er frp'er, for han er minst like populistisk og billig i sin politikk?

Jeg skal uansettbe/meditere for han Hovland nå jeg, så kanskje noe god karma og fred kommer hans vei!

Als ich jung Mädchen war, hatten wir immer auf Tour nach Deutschland zu dieser Zeit des Jahres!

Dann gingen wir um mit unseren Chor und hatte Konzerte in Kirchen und Schulen.

  

Gott, wie ich die guten alten Zeiten verpassen! Ich hoffe, eines Tages die schöne Deutschland wieder erleben!

9 ways guys pee

Yoga-Ellen

Short recap of my HOT, HOT, HOT (because I deliberately fired up the stove beforehand) yoga, at 11 am. It felt energizing and I got some of my energy back (because HOT DAMN" how extremely knocked out I became from sleeping in the livingroom sofa/bed, onthe sheep-skin!!).

I started only with an easy variant of ashtanga-yoga, but that ain't no laughing matter!! It is heavy stuff!!

Got some amateur pictures of the early-bird sesSion, if nothing else, it's proof that I actually do get off of my big ass ;-P

 Voila.... there you have it. Some of the "not so very professional" yoga done by ms.Ellen every morning :-D

Though, I feel I have to precise that I am going to HARDCORE "Ashtanga-yoga" School. That hopefully means that I will be SO excellent in this field soon, that I'll challenge whoever that wants, to have a "yoga-battle" ;-D

But seriously, I LAW, LAW, LAW yoga in the morning, afternoon and evening <3 It's a really good way of getting your focus to where it SHOULD be :-D

Barking cat gets busted!!

Work, work, work

So, yesterday we were working our "asses" off!

 

Roy was a master with the chainsaw, which had a chain that kept jumping off, but with the right tools, what can a man not fix??!! :-D

He eventually graduated to a wood-vutter machine, wich was MUCH slower, but did it's business!!

 

Me, I was chopping wood with an axe, and I was also in charge of stacking the finished, stove-ready "logs" in place :D

As we were doing our respective business, on our different ends, I decided to start painting the outside of our house! It is becoming ocher - yellow, and it's all so very fantastical <3

Heaven in an OLD bed

As of right now me and my little LAW, LAW, LAW (my love aka the cat "Lille Vesla", translated as "little tiny") are lying in an old bed thats 100 years old; seriously SO cool, feel like I'm living in the good old days. Especially since we now live in the CUTEST house on my family farm. It is a lovely house with guestroom, livingroom, big kitchen, office, bathroom and a pretty big bedroom... aswell as a huge garage and a loft :D

Aaaaanyways, I am now lying in what we in norwegian call a "skuvseng", on a "sheep-skin", actually it's the wool/"skin" of one of our two sheep (on our farm we produce wheet, and such,we have lots of fields of barley ++ and we have forests). But, my mother thinks it is so nice to have two sheep, a rooster, about 10 hen's, and 4 cats... thats just part of the charm that makes up our farm!!

So, back to business, my lovely kitty-cat-baby-daughter and me are lying in front of a live fire, on a SOFT sheep-skin, and have a "who enjoys themselves the most"-competition!! 

LOVE IT, just love it! So, this is actually our sofa aswell (are going for a real rustic "look" in our cute new house), and it looks like we're gonna fall asleep and spend the night on this soft heavenly "cloud" :-D

"Daddy", aka Roy, the fionce took his "after dinner nap" here aswell, and has announced that he will be joining us <3

I also had to take an after-dinner nap! Hihi, a tiny bit embarrasing... kinda... cause I am only 28 and napping after dinner is kinda like what I remember my great-great grandfather used to do. Though, if this is one sign that I am getting an older LADY, well, then I wonmt freak out "botox-style" and re-juvinate as if my life depended on it :-) I love my life, the new environment, I love my MAN, and I LAW my "body-changes"!! So afternoon-napping; HERE I COME!!

Tomorrow there will be written accounts of our amazing day of labor, and pictures to show all of you our paradise in "Vikersund" (Vikersund is the name of our new little hometown, for those who are interrested in winter sports, this is where the biggest ski-jumping hill in Europe is... actually we are its neighbour ;-P)

Back in business!!

just wanted to say; HELLO! I am back in business... finally!!

we have moved to the family farm, one hour oustside of Oslo, and "Livin' la vida loca"!! It is just HEAVEN!

I will be back very soon with pictures and updates about the "new environment" and "the new life"! I can just say that I can recommend that everybody gets out of the city, you don't have to be all drastic and make a move like me, but just GET OUT!!
