The practice of the council is simple. The basic rule is this: Speak from the heart, listen with the heart. Nobody ever interrupts anybody. A "talking stick" (any object you favor) helps, since the one holding the stick speaks until they are done, and only then does the stick pass. Useful in relationships, family, business, any community situation. Council is always applicable whenever two or more are gathered together.
